(****This is the second post in my series on How to Cope with Tough Times****)
I’m not a dancer but I love to dance.
Most of my movements are deemed goofy by my kids.
As a matter of fact, for about 20 years, while they were home, I relegated dancing to the basement.
But now…
I’m alone.
So

I dance.
I rock to 60s beats. I leap and twirl to Broadway blasts.
I clap and stomp to Bible Songs. I sway and swing to soulful heart-cry croons.
Movement has become therapy. Music enhances moods.
Times have been tough, so I dance.
🎶
“You have turned my mourning into dancing for me;
You have taken off my sackcloth and clothed me with joy.
That my soul may sing praise to your and not be silent.
O Lord my God, I will give thanks to YOU forever! “ – Psalm 30:11-12
🎶
✅ When life is tough, don’t forget to dance .

✅ Don’t forget to move to the melody of melancholy.
✅ Don’t forget to sway to the song of sorrow
✅ Don’t forget to mambo to the music of unexpected miracles
✅ Our bodies need movement. Our souls need song.
✅ Make music and move !
✅ Thanks, God, for the dance and the song.
