I paid the guy $50 to clear my driveway on Sunday.

On Monday I was back shoveling my driveway.
I guess I’m glad the guy shoved the first layer of ice off. I just wasn’t expecting to be shoveling another three inches Monday.
This article is about shoveling snow.

This article is about life.

We got hit with a winter interruption. Even though it was expected, it still provided challenges.
I thought I’d paid to clear my driveway, but there was still more to shovel.

There’s always more to shovel…
That’s a life lesson.
I got into the rhythm of pushing snow out of the way: -Just keep moving that huge scoop down the drive.

Eventually, the pile will end up in a spot that won’t impede your escape.

Basically, you’ve got to shove that annoying stuff to the side and keep moving.
-Another life lesson.
Dump damaging distractions to the side.

Challenges happen. Expected or unexpected, they can be annoying.
I’m sure glad God gives us the strength to keep going…as long as we pause long enough to ask HIM.

Just keep pushing. Eventually, you’ll find a place to deposit the junk.
Just keep pushing forward. Then you can make your escape.
Escape !

I made my escape Monday. Unfortunately, the city didn’t share my lesson about pushing.

My car didn’t get far. I was bashing into snowbanks right and left.
That’s OK. I have another philosophy:

Sometimes you’ve just got to turn around
and slide back home to your clean space.
And here’s one more good life lesson:
Go ahead and park for a bit.
Things just might clear up on their own.
